01 / Life HQ

A home for
your everyday.

Give your local Codex a setup skill. It helps you build a personal workspace, one useful conversation at a time.

Choose what belongs in your HQ. Shape your morning, write down your vision, and decide what your assistant may remember. Add the other pieces when you need them.

A morning that fits you

Choose vision, affirmations, priorities, a little head-clearing, or a connected email and calendar briefing. Try a short conversation before adding more.

✓ Morning Mode, To-do list and Personal memory are included by default. Tap the other pills to add optional installs. You can change these choices during setup. Account connections depend on your available tools.

    Download the skill

A small ZIP with the Life HQ skill and a getting-started guide.

  2. 02

    Open it with Codex

Extract the ZIP and give your local Codex the folder. Ask it to guide the setup.

  3. 03

    Make it yours

Start with Morning Mode, a to-do list and personal memory. Choose optional features, approve your personal documents, and try your assistant.

For local Codex on Mac or Windows. The included skill records a Mac/Linux launcher check from 12 October 2026; setup rechecks current Windows support. Your Markdown routines can start while memory integration is pending. This starter still needs real-world onboarding testing.

Your everyday home

Bookmark the website
on your computer.

The setup builds a personal Life HQ website for you to manage everything you choose.

Open your to-do list, start Morning Mode, and find your routines and optional modules in one place. Codex checks that the site runs locally, saves your changes, and opens again after a restart.

When Codex opens your finished Life HQ, bookmark that website in your browser: ⌘D on Mac or Ctrl+D on Windows. Name it “Life HQ” and keep it on your bookmarks bar so it’s always easy to find.

Bookmark your own installed Life HQ website. Setup gives you its local address and the instructions for starting it again.

Before you begin

A few good
questions.

What do I get?

A guided setup skill. Codex uses it to create your local Life HQ folder, personal documents, Morning Mode, a to-do list, personal memory, a local management website, and memory rules. Optional modules are added when you choose them.

Where does my information live?

In your chosen local workspace and configured memory store. You approve what is remembered. Your Documents folder may sync through iCloud or OneDrive; setup checks that choice. Local storage does not mean offline AI: the model receives the context it uses.

Does it connect my accounts automatically?

Setup checks supported tools and helps you connect the accounts you choose. You handle sign-in and security prompts. Email-style research, personal research, and Kindle imports are optional and scoped separately.

Can it do the shopping?

Where browser access works, it can help add agreed items to a Coles or Woolworths click-and-collect cart. You review the cart and complete checkout.

Is the coaching a therapist?

It offers reflection and emotional support using context you agree to save. It is an AI assistant, not a qualified therapist or a substitute for professional care.

Do I need to set everything up at once?

No. Start with Morning Mode, your to-do list and personal memory. Add books, reviews, shopping, exercise, or account integrations later. Codex and optional services may have their own access requirements and costs.
